There is no standard length of time for a visit to the Science Museum. You can spend an hour to a whole day—it depends on how you experience the museum. For first time visitors we recommend allowing at least two hours to explore the museum and an additional hour if you plan to see a film in the Omnitheater.

The Science Museum parking ramp is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Parking is $5. The $5 fee is payable by credit or debit card only at the ramp exit pay station. In 3 weeks of traveling throughout the US and visiting other Museums, this Science Museum was terribly expensive ($135 for 5 of us to see the traveling exhibit and general admission plus $10 to park for 4 hours) and they sold far too many admissions to the featured Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit.4.5/5(1.1K)
