Mitchell`s "German" Mausers are fakes. At one time Mitchell`s sold Yugo M48's that were basically straight from the Yugo arsenals and way over priced. This M48 was originally sold by Mitchell's Mausers. I bought it of the owner for about half what he paid and he was glad to get that much back out of it.
