Jul 22, 2013 · You should be entering in the entire task duration. If the task takes 3 months, enter the three months. You may then assign the number of hours you estimate the resource working during that 3 month period of time. Assuming the task is Fixed Duration, Project will spread the entered work evenly across the duration.
