Microsoft Project does not automatically allocate any “extra hours” as overtime work. To make this point clear: if you assign 10 hours of daily work to a resource with an 8-hour working schedule, MS Project does not, by itself, record 8 hours as normal work and 2 extra hours as overtime work.

The normal working hour rate is 15$ and the overtime is 30$. The problem is that the system always puts 5 normal hours on its own, then 5 overtime and total of 10 hours. = 225$ If i enter 5 overtime hours the cost changes to 150$, but the duration changes to 0. when i put it back to 5hrs (300 mins) it goes back to 225$ and charges 5 normal hours and 5 overtime hours again. please help :)
