How are the working hours at McLane Company? Asked July 11, 2016. Since there's not an update for 2021, I will give an up to date: you work Monday through Friday as a selector you will work 9am-6pm or more commonly later, and sometimes 10 or 11pm. For checking/loading you work 11am until sometimes 3 or 4 am.

The company says they care about drivers home time but would work you up to your 70 and have you take your 36hr reset on the road so you might get home very few days but don’t expect to spend more than 20hrs at home a week.

McLane driver teammates drive big trucks, loaded with up to 40,000 pounds of products that customers need to drive their business. This job is not for the weak or timid, but for those who have the guts to work hard and reap the benefits. GRIT. Grit is what separates McLane drivers from the rest. You like working 20-30 hours straight? Then you’ll love Mclane! Pay isn’t that good when you figure out how many hours you spend in the truck.its a 20$ an hour job. You just get to work 70 hours+a week. I’ve had weeks where I spent 90 hours in the truck to mAke 1250$ For a “local” driving job... that’s kind of insane
