We visited Maquoketa Cave State park on July 2, 2017 with my husband, two grandkids age six and eight and their parents. We were there visiting the grandkids and decided it would be a great day trip. It was a very interesting experience. There are 6 miles of trails which have several caves.

It's just gorgeous. There are plenty of places to hike around, take pictures, and camp. They also have streams flowing through the park as well. I love coming here!"
