Out of hours support. slamb over 5 years ago. Morning, My mum was diagnosed yesterday afternoon with Ovarian cancer. It has hit us like a brick wall to be honest. she was given an information pack with details of the McMillan nurses etc. Due to the fact she was diagnosed on a Friday afternoon, there doesn't seem to be any support over the weekend.
