We visited Mackinac Island in 2008, and did not visit the fort. We loved the whole 'time-warp' island thing, and enjoyed bike riding, driving a horse-drawn carriage, etc. In June 2011 we visited again, but this time we went to the fort and the 5 historic buildings that are included in the fort admission.4.5/5(2.1K)
