And you'll feel like you're in a completely different building than the labour and delivery floor. Sounds tacky, but the 16th floor made me feel like I was in a hospital you see on tv where the 7th delivery floor felt like I was in an old old building. You'll need to bring all your toiletries, pads both for bleeding and breasts, diapers, and wipes.

The nurses at Mt Sinai were awesome! The LC was not super helpful (if you're planning to breast feed). I went to Mt Sinai solely because I really like my ob and that's where she delivers. The delivery rooms are small (we had a doula so it got crowded quickly). The triage was awful.
