The two best hospitals are Grey Nuns and Sturgeon in St. Albert. (Just based on mine, my friends and family's experiences). I've heard the misericordia isn't great, and grey nuns or the Lois hole are much better options.I was going to birth at the lucina centre -a birth center in edmonton- but ended up with emerg c section at the sturgeon hospital in St. Albert, which isn't too far from the west end. I had a private room and thought the hospital was great, overall.
