Hi guys We are using CS Mimesweeper for SMTP as our mail filter. For some reason, it has now stopped delivering mail to one particular domain. The mails are getting caught in the delivery queue, with a "Can't connect to host" status.

Unfortunately email is sitting in the deferred delivery queue of the default SMTP server and only sending to the second SMTP virtual server after I start and stop the services on our mailsweeper and 10 minutes or so passes. I can't think why restarting the mailsweeper would help other than it might close a connection to the server.

Aug 08, 2012 · We are seeing a number of errors in the event logs and we are also seeing that a few thousand emails (.EML files) are sitting in the 'Queue' folder (C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue). An IP address for our Smart Host is specificed in the Advance Delivery box (Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties > Delivery Tab > Advanced).
