If the message did not arrive at the destination, the SMTP server accepted the message from Database Mail, but did not deliver the message to the final recipient. Check the logs of the SMTP server, or contact the administrator of the SMTP server. You can also test the SMTP mail server by using another client such as Outlook Express.

That's what's happening here: The SMTP server says "Queued for delivery", meaning that it's received everything from the SMTP client (Chilkat) successfully, will deliver the email. If the email never actually gets delivered, then the problem is downstream of the Chilkat-->SMTP server handoff.

An email came in from a person '[email protected]' and it passed all the rules (as was expected) and the logs showed: 'Message 1825179 to [email protected] received remote SMTP response '2.6.0 <[email protected]> Queued mail for delivery'. But the email never made it in.

Ironport log says Message # queued for delivery. Recipient never gets it. seems like a few domains that we have people trying to send mail to that use *.mail.protection.outlook.com are not receiving the email. One company in particular claims "well we are getting other emails so it must be your side".

In the command prompt window it stated that the message had been queued for delivery. The smtp recieve log stated the same also, but I never received it. Before i ran the telnet program I went into OrganisationConfiguration -> Hub Transport -> Anti Spam and disabled everything. I've just noticed something in the smtp receive log.....
