We both started funneling our usage to the hours we get #OhmHours - between 6-9 pm. Currently, our #ohmHours are mostly 8-9pm. We have a Mega starting in 20 minutes, so I'll make this fast. :-) We do things like laundry, baking, vacuuming, dishwasher, a/c or space heater if it's cold, etc., from 8-9.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm%27s_law
Ohm's law states that the current through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage across the two points. Introducing the constant of proportionality, the resistance, one arrives at the usual mathematical equation that describes this relationship: =, where I is the current through the conductor in units of amperes, V is the voltage measured across the conductor in ...

Ohm’s Law Statement: Ohm’s law states that the voltage across a conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing through it, provided all physical conditions and temperature, remain constant. Ohm’s Law Equation: V = IR, where V is the voltage across the conductor, I is the current flowing through the conductor and R is the ...

According to Ohm’s law, 5 V passing through a 220 ohm resistor is 0.114 watts of power (just over 1/10 watt). That energy will be released as heat in the resistor. As the resistor heats up, its resistance value changes slightly. Low-temperature coefficient resistors (±50 ppm or less) change value less than ordinary resistors (±100 ppm or greater). Higher wattage resistors are usually ...

After it comes down to zero, we can test the component. The resistance meter usually will range from 1 ohm(1Ω) to 1megaohm (1MΩ). When the two probes are connected at each side of the resistor, the pointer starts to deflect.. To know, how to read an ohmmeter, Turn the selector knob to an estimated ohms range or set it to the maximum range to see if you are getting the estimated reading.

The resulting resistance should be between 28k – 50k ohms. Measure resistance between CAN HI and GROUND. The result should be Mega ohms or open. Measure resistance between CAN LOW and GROUND. The result should be Mega ohms or open. If damage to an input has occurred measurement will typically be 10K ohm or less between CAN HI/LOW and GROUND
