About 30 miles past Lolo Hot Springs you will find Warm Springs Creek trail. There is a nice parking area with a nice bridge to cross the Locksa river. The trail is #49 and is worth the mile walk to a few hot springs. Jerry Johnson is the name - it's worth the trek. Written August 21, 2017.

This challenging trail leads to Carlton Ridge. From Carlton Ridge hikers can descend to Carlton Lake where hardier hikers may choose to climb up to the summit of Lolo Peak (9096 feet). Lolo Peak is a distinctive area landmark and offers tremendous views of the Missoula and Bitterroot valleys, and the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountain ranges.
