Leicester Royal Infirmary - Partial closure of Gateway Street – 1st September till 31st December 2020. Please be aware that we will be closing Gateway St to vehicular traffic between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday. This is due to increased construction activity. Signage will be in place to direct all traffic out of Gate 7 onto Havelock St and the closure will be lifted in the evenings and weekends.

Jul 19, 2021 · Visiting restriction guidance. UPDATED 19 JULY 2021. Visiting restrictions remain in place to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff. A single adult visitor can attend a pre-booked visiting slot for adult patients who have been in hospital for over 14 days. This can be arranged directly with the ward staff.

The new restrictions will apply to Leicester Royal Infirmary, Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General Hospital, and are designed to protect staff, patients and visitors.
