The Layland Museum, located in the former Carnegie Library, is a nice local history museum, with attractive and informative displays on early days in Johnson County. Mr. Layland gave his personal and eclectic collection of historical objects to the museum, and they run from dinosaur tracks to Native American clothing with beautiful beadwork.
