Gonyea said the center’s hotline — 802-888-5256 — is answered 24 hours a day, and advocates help with safety planning and exploring legal options, such as filing police reports and relief from abuse reports with the court. The center’s shelter has also stayed open while adapting to coronavirus guidelines.
