LT is open daily through Labor Day then weekends until the end of October. There is absolutely zip in this general area for other things to do but that shouldn't deter you as Lake Tobias is well kept, the pricing isn't bad and the safari driving tour is something unique that resembles the one Disney's Animal Kingdom. In other words, just go.

I went to Lake Tobias Wildlife Park two days ago, and I had a fantastic time. The park is a little out of the way, but it's not their fault. After all, the site began as a large farm, where the park's founder, J.R. Tobias, was born and raised. To this day, the park is still owned and operated by Tobias' wife and children.
