It's $3 per person plus $1 for the dog. I personally think its to much money for a lake you can't swim in. It does have a pool but its not open. RV park on one side, shooting range on the other.

Aside from our hassles, it is a nice campground. But they charge for EVERYTHING, even if your camping there. It's $6/day to fish, and fishing closes at like 7 or 8, when they start biting! They have 3 sessions a day for the pool (2 hours each) and EACH sessions costs $2/person to swim. There is no swimming or watercraft allowed on lake.

It takes water 24 hours to arrive in the Coachella Valley after being ordered from the Imperial Dam and the lake provides some flexibility when weather conditions and irrigation needs change unexpectedly. The lake is 3/4 of a mile long and half that wide at its wide point.

Lake Cahuilla has a lot to offer, including a playground, lake for fishing only (no swimming), and a pool that was closed while we were there, and somewhat spacious sites. The camp host was very nice and overall the site was quiet and clean.
