If the person works 10 hours on Monday, works 8 T, W, Th and 6 on Friday, no OT is required sicne the person has not physically worked over 40 hours. "Banking" OT to use a couple of weeks later is comp time and that is not permitted unless you are a public employer ( county, city, state).
