The Kinni is a hidden treasure just 30 minutes from the Twin Cites. A quiet creek like river that winds through forests and a few houses. It is clear, cold, and shallow different than most local rivers. Andrew the business owner is the real deal, a former professional kayaker.

Hello Kinni Kayak people!! The river is harder this year with the alterations from the spring flood. Yet, it’s still the glorious gorge that it always has been!The average trip is taking a kayaker around four hours compared to three hours last year. It’s also smart to not bring never ever’s who have never kayaked before.

When requesting a pick-up time, allow three hours for paddling and plenty of time for picnicking and swimming. On weekends, all kayaks and canoes often are rented, so reserve in advance. The outfitter also shuttles paddlers to the Upper Kinni, though it's not as scenic.
