May 20, 2021 · The King Library Press, founded in 1956, is devoted to the tradition of fine printing and produces books and broadsides. Typesetting, printing, and binding are all done at the Press and there are opportunities for apprentices. The Press is located in the King Library at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

The E.W. King Library will be open only for current students, faculty, and staff of King University. No community patrons allowed in the building until further notice. Bathrooms in the E.W. King Library are limited to one user at a time. Kingsport and Knoxville library locations will follow guidelines for those campuses.
