    The Kerid Crater is privately owned. You pay 400 ISK to enter from the parking lot [parking is free]. It is worth seeing. The crater is 270 m long, 170 m wide and 55 m deep. There is a staircase that leads down to the lake. You can also walk the rim path around it which has good views.
