The river the cabins and the people were all wonderful. The politics or the government regulators sure fowled up a nice trip. While the commercial fisheries caught the sockeye before they reached the Kenai river and stopped the numbers from reaching acceptable numbers for reproduction, they shut down the sportfishing for Sockeye!!

The lodge is located about three and half hours south of Anchorage on the Kenai peninsula by a creek in a beautiful setting. The lodge itself is well built and very well maintained. Our host, Dorothy, and the staff were super friendly and professional. Everything was well organized, the food was excellent and the fishing super fun.
