Kellerhaus is incredible. We made a point to visit again on our second trip to the area, and it didn't disappoint. Kellerhaus has something like 8 different rooms with different things to browse and buy, and a large ice cream dining area. The chocolate and fudge is delicious and it's easy to lose yourself in the wonder of this unique place.

History. In 1906 Otto G. Keller answered an employment ad for Phillips' candy store in Laconia, NH and at least in the eyes of children of all ages, the Lakes Region has never been the same. Otto arrived penniless from Merrimack NH, but within hours he secured his job at Phillips', and within a year owned the store lock, stock and barrel.
