The Jefferson Market Library (1877) was formerly the Jefferson Market Courthouse - whatever it is, it's nice that such a remarkable building is named after Thomas Jefferson, America's most remarkable president. The edifice is modeled after the Bavarian castle of Neuschwanstein. Outside is the Jefferson Market Garden (see that review).
