And, of course, the Indian Seats Trail is an awesome hike to tackle while you’re in the preserve. Because all hikes are located in the preserve, visitors must abide by the hours of operation. The park is open daily, but its hours are affected seasonally. From November to February the park is open from 6AM to 7PM.

The parking lot and facilities are really nice with decent signage. The Indian seats are about 3/4 of a mile hike with some decent elevation changes. Maybe - 300-400 ft but nothing too serious. The trail is really well maintained. On a clear day the Indian seats have one of the best panoramic views of the North Georgia mountains anywhere.

The lower entrance on Spot Rd is a longer walk to the top than the entrance on Bettis Tribble Gap. Both paths will lead to the Indian seats at the top. The view is amazing and a nice spot for a picnic. The only downside is that pets are not allowed, total bummer!"
