[Imajica took] fourteen months from the time I first put pen to paper till the day I turned it in. That was writing seven days a week, 14 hours a day. Towards the end it was 16 hours a day. But it was a book which obsessed me, right from the very beginning. I don't quite know yet why that is.

In super short, Imajica is about a man and a woman finding out that the earth is just one plane of existence out of five- and that for some reason, it has been more or less cut off from the other four.
