    If OP went to sleep shortly after midnight & slept until nearly 3pm, isn't that slightly less than 13 hours? Midnight to 1am is 1 hour, to 2pm is 2 hours, etc -- noon would be 12 hours -- then 3pm would be 13 hours. So OP didn't sleep over 14 hours. Not that it matters with respect to OP's quandry, but just for the sake of accuracy.
