Hunter Park has a miniature train that runs twice a month on a Sunday morning. Our children are older so we have never gone there for that, but it is a beautiful, well-maintained park with lights in the evening until 10pm; 4 basketball courts and two baseball/softball fields.

Cool park that offers free mini train rides on second and fourth sunday of every month! The train rides here are completely worth it. It seems to be atleast 15 minutes long. You can't take any photographs while the train is in motion but you get to ride a real mini steam train. The volunteers that run it are extremely nice.

The terms of the agreement deeding the property to the city Diesels are absolutely not allowed on the property. that diesels get is the BNSF and UP main lines that run a half block west of the park. A fast train went by every 10 or 15 minutes.
