Unless you shadow a PT who doesn’t know how to use the internet (a dying breed I imagine), you’ll input your observation hours into a form on PTCAS and it’ll send an email to the PT to confirm and sign off on your hours. At the places I observed, I was expected/trusted to keep track of my own hours.
