Apr 01, 2015 · Apr 2, 2015 at 6:13 PM. @brittanykuck, Dr's should really only check at 72 hours since not all women double in 48. If your levels were doubling in 72 you'd be perfectly fine so it's actually really irresponsible of so many Dr's to unduly stress women by testing at 48 hrs.
