The Horezu Monastery is located about 2 hours drive south of Sibiu, on the road to Targu Jiu. I hadn’t found much visitor information beforehand, so I just hoped it to be open on a Monday morning in late August. When I arrived there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot, and one single souvenir stall out of a row that was open.

Hi ! The monastery is open for visitors everyday between 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you want, you can join the church service and the entrance is free of charge.If you go in the area, must see it.Enjoy!!!
