Reboot when asked to and choose Console Mode once Hivemind loads. Kodi/Hivemind will then take you through first time setup as well as update. Kodi/Hivemind appeared to crash/freeze but i left it for 10-15 mins before ctrl + alt + del to sign out as no input was being seen and then reboot one more time. Mission accomplished.
