The Hilo Hattie's on Nimitz is a great place to swing by on the way to the airport, but with a little bit of planning you can get the exact same merchandise elsewhere for much cheaper. Hilo Hattie's clothing is well made, but if you want to just pick up a shot glass or some postcards, head over to Wal-mart instead.

October 26, 2015. October 26th, 2015 – Hilo Hattie officially closed the doors of their flagship Nimitz store today. It had been the company’s flagship location for 35 years. To say mahalo for all the years of community support, the store’s employees and Mr. Kang, the company’s CEO and President, took to the streets.
