Until further notice, all indoor spaces at Camp Harkness will remain closed. Unfortunately this means reservations beginning January 2021 will also be on hold until COVID-19 reopening protocols for the camp have been determined. Harkness Memorial State Park is a lovely gem of a park. It consists of a 42-room mansion and outbuildings with extensive gardens and landscaping, and a tiny but pretty white sand beach. It was rather busy on the day we visited, and one drawback that we felt was there really is only one bathroom in the park, over by the beach.

Feb 2018 • Solo. Harkness Park is wonderful Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter. In the Spring it is lovely to see the garden near the house coming to life with new blooms. In summer you can find people picnicking and lounging on the grass. Fall and Winter the park is quiet and a nice place to take a brisk walk.
