The Hammock Shops Village was started in 1938 and is tucked away, just off Route 17 among the trees with beautifully landscaped grounds. There are 25 shops and a restaurant or 2 and the complex is easily walkable. Great break from the beach. It is the home of the original Pawley's Island hammock.
