Aug 2014 • Family. We started off at Ontario Beach State Park and found that the beach was closed due to high levels of bacteria. A local gentleman told us about Hamlin Beach and said it would be open for swimming and was about twenty minutes away. So we loaded up the car and headed there.

We figured it is always new to try somewhere else and it would be better than going to Charlotte. We made the trek there, it was a little too long for my liking but that is okay. There is a fee to get in something like $7 or $8 so not bad and that is the average NYS park fee to get in.
