I had the same thing happen, though it wasn't a Hamby's. I checked with my dealer and was told to use some 2 part epoxy to fix the 8-10 inches that had given way. It's been 3 or 4 years since and it's still holding strong. Be sure to let it dry 24-48 hours before getting wet.
