( I did try using vinegar as they suggested, to no avail.) I am doing that (scrubbing) with my H2O labs distiller and so far, so good. Would like to see if it lasts longer than my first one. It does take about 6 hours to make one gallon of water, but it is dependable so far, and the water tastes good.

We really like our new H20 Lab Distiller. I make two or three gallons a day. I use it for everything. When I put the 1st gallon of tap water thru the process, I about fell over to see the scum and mineral buildup left over in my distiller!!! Disgusting, how bad our water is that we get through our Rural Water District provider!
