You could also make your wedding cake a more premium product; torted with 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of filling, while your party cakes are simply 2 layers of cake and 1 layer of filling. Wedding cakes also require more time for delivery and setup, and of course, more stress.

May 31, 2017 · I agree cupcakes are easy for pick up so I would encourage that. As far as delivery I do free in town but for all other areas I charge by the hour, $25 per hour round trip. so a 2.5 hr delivery (5hrs round trip) would be a $125 delivery charge

Dec 04, 2013 · For tiered cakes, they generally start at $4.50 per serving for 2 tiers and the price increases per tier (by $.25 per tier, so a 4 tiered cake would be a minimum $4.50 per serving) and for difficulty/design. A 5″ + 7″ round tiered cake with 26 servings is $120 minimum, plus taxes.

Sep 11, 2010 · What's sad is that I am one of the few bakers that charge a delivery fee but it doesn't kick in until after 15 miles. I had to do that to stay competitive with all the free delivery bakers. All of the shops (all 2) have free delivery for all wedding cakes and cakes over $50.
