In this instance it does appear that, for whatever reason, Hermes has told a Porky - the buyer had received a card indicating that delivery had been attempted and stating that redelivery would happen on another date, and despite being in on that date no further delivery was attempted. Mar 09, 2016 · Personally if you’ve agreed a delivery date with the customer then I would rearrange the delivery date, pay for it and just take it on the chin. Whether you refund or arrange another delivery you’ve lost at least one set of delivery charges with hermes. All couriers will only attempt redeliveries a certain number of times.

Nov 21, 2011 · When you refuse delivery of an order, how exactly does that work? Does the courier give you some kind of receipt showing you refused delivery? Do you have to pay return fees? I can imagine refusing an item and it going back on the truck but it later showing up as delivered and you'd have no recourse to prove you didn't have it.
