You can only walk the south side (Rt hand side of bridge coming from NJ) from 6am til 11:59pm. North end is closed. Not sure if it's temporary or permanent though. A nice view of the NJ Palisades & NY skyline. Walking the length of the bridge & back took me an hour, but I stopped to take a number of pictures.
