I think the Gongbei underground hours will be about 11am to 10pm. They are individual shops so some will open earlier or later. Most of the clothes shops sell local brand goods but many handbags, watches, sun glasses etc are fakes. (RayBans for $US7!!) There are also some outdoor gear shops - fake North Face Gear, One Polar etc.

Quite large shopping area just next to zhuhai macau immigration office. Underground market open till around 10pm. Might be crowded during rush hour. Lots of food and snack stall, clothing store, a small miniso inside the underground market. Spend around 3 hours.

I'm from Europe and I just wanted to say I found lots of interesting stuff at the Gongbei shopping center, watches, handbags, electronics, really good prices! Keep in mind that it's ok to ask for something at Half price, that's how trade works as far I understood.
