Golling Waterfall. Golling is about 30 km south of Salzburg. In the district of Torren ("torrens" Lat. torrent), the waterfall plunges down 75 metres in two stages. The hiking trail leads almost entirely through forest and is also suitable for children. After about 40 minutes you can even see the source of the waterfall.

The trek to the bottom of the waterfall takes about 10 minutes. It is another 10 or so minutes to the mid-point and the awesome view into the cave. To the very top takes a bit longer. Getting to the start of the trail takes a while because the curiously downmarket tourist location of Golling has to be traversed.
