The Gliderport is a real aviation facility. It has a lot going around so remember when you come it is located in Torrey Pines City Park park. There are gliders coming and going and also at the extreme ends of the park there are hiking trails leading down to the beach below. These trails are pretty steep and often slippery after the rain.
