Garrett County Museum of Transportation offers many history lessons to the 2017 visitor. We like that the Garrett County Museum of Transportation is directly across the street from the B & O History Museum. There is lots of free parking. Well worth the drive from Canaan Valley.

The first floor features carriages, sleighs, buggies, fire department artifacts and automobiles, along with a representation of A.D. Naylor’s Blacksmith Shop, one of the earliest and most prominent businesses in Oakland.
