There are two basic ways to get to the Sacre Coeur either by walking the up the numerous steps to the summit or taking the funicular. Three if you count the little train that trundles round the Montmartre area but is the expensive of the three. The cost is E1.40 but if you have a Paris Metro card like we did it's free.
