The museum tells the story of the history of life in western Colorado and its surrounding areas with real fossils, cast skeletons as well as robotic reconstructions of dinosaurs. My kids (2 and 5) loved this museum. There are great exhibits - all are indoors and it takes about 30-60 minutes to see most things. There are replica fossils, recreated dinosaurs that move (big hit with my kids) and lots of interesting facts, a kids area to dig for "fossils", a water table area to build a dam, and an area where you can watch workers trying to retrieve fossils.4/5(243)
