Seems the soul gems come out of the focus wells with each well also giving a fortify magicka:one "mislabeled" as drain magicka for +25, and two fortifies for +100 - all for two hours. The gloves go away upon completion with no other rewards listed.

I have no idea what's happening here. And I checked my active effects section and found a "Fortify Magicka: +100 Fortify Magicka for 2 hours (1 Hour remaining)" that I have no idea where it came from. And I mean, even with a fortify M +100, that doesn't explain the instant rebound I got going on o_O Anyone know what could have happened here?

2 Hour Buff for Infinite Magicka There's a quest in the college of winterhold where the Illusion trainer gives you a pair of gloves and asks you to clean out the magic wells around the college. After you clean the last one, you get a two hour buff that Fortifies your magicka +100 and give you like +10000% mana regen.

Under active effects one of them says "Fortify magicka - +25 fortify magicka for 2 hours", could that be what's giving me infinite magic? Yeah, I've got the same problem. It's telling me +100 fortify magicka for 2 hours with about 49 hours left.

100% magicka usage reduction doesn't work I have Daedric Armor, Daedric Helmet, Gold Diamond Necklace, Gold Diamond Ring all with -25% destruction magicka cost, so all of them added should equal 100%. My Destruction level is 100, Enchanting too. Weirdly enough, my destruction spells still use magicka.

After playing with a few saved games, I noticed the status effect "Fortify Magicka," which when selected the title said "Drain Magicka" and had a description something like, "+25 Magicka, something else (can't remember, but didn't seem relevant)." When this effect wore off, I was reverted back to my old magicka useage/regen.
